What the notebook is for, the built-in templates, and how it relates to your trade notes.
By NKTrades
The notebook is a Premium feature, found under Trading → Notebook. It's separate writing space (for your market view, your week, or a lesson learned), alongside the notes you can already add to a trade or a day for free.
A notebook entry doesn't have to belong to one trade. You can link it to a specific trade (it then shows in your list with the symbol and result attached), but you can just as easily write a free-standing note, for example a weekly view or a reflection that spans several trades.
You organize notes into folders you create yourself. Delete a folder and its notes aren't deleted: they move to 'All notes'. Notes you link to a specific day automatically get their own place. You can mark notes as favorites, and search within your notebook.
When creating a new note you can start blank or pick a template. A few built-in templates are ready to use:
Pre-market prep: for your bias, key levels, a checklist, and your plan going in.
Trade review: for setup, execution, what went well, what could improve, and the lesson.
Weekly outlook: for a look back, themes, levels per instrument, and your focus for the week.
You can also save one of your own notes as your own template, so you can reuse it as a starting point later, separate from the built-in ones.
The note you write directly on a trade or a day (in Trade View or Day View) stays free and is separate from the notebook. That's the short remark about that one moment. The notebook is for anything bigger than a single trade: your market view, your weekly review, or something you're still working out.
