What each screen shows, how the filters work, and how a day is delimited in your journal.
By NKTrades
Your journal has three screens for looking at your trades, each with its own purpose. They share the same filters, so you can switch between them without losing your period or symbol.
Trading → Overview is your dashboard: core numbers like P&L, win rate and profit factor, plus widgets such as a cumulative curve, your last days and your risk management score. You choose which widgets appear with the Widgets button.
Trading → Day View groups your trades per trading day: for each day you see net and gross P&L, number of trades, winners/losers, win rate and volume, with the trades themselves listed below in a table. Click a trade to open its detail page, or use ?day= in the URL to zoom into a single day.
A day is the calendar day on which a trade was opened. The times you see are shown in Amsterdam time (Europe/Amsterdam), even if the trade came from a US broker.
Trading → Trade View is the flat list of all your trades, with the columns you need to scan quickly: open date, direction, size, net P&L and more. Click a trade to open its detail page: entry, exit, fees, R-multiple, executions, notes and (if the instrument is known) points and ticks.
Select multiple trades with the checkboxes and you can link them to a strategy in one go.
The same filter bar sits above every screen: period, account, symbol, direction, status (open/closed), strategy, tag and the P&L basis (net/gross). A filter stays in place when you switch screens, so you can, for example, move from Overview to Trade View while staying filtered on one account.
