Creating your own tag categories, attaching them to trades, using ready-made templates, and finding your tags back in Reports.
By NKTrades
Tags let you break down why a trade went the way it did: a setup, an emotion, a session, or a mistake you recognise. Unlike strategies, tags are freely combinable: a trade can carry several, from several categories.
Go to Account → Journal tags. First create a category (for example "Setup" or "Emotion") with a name and a color, then add tags inside it. Both categories and tags can be renamed, recolored and deleted afterwards.
Deleting a category or tag also removes its links to your trades. This can't be undone.
Nothing set up yet? Click Templates for ready-made categories with tags already in them, including Setup, Emotion, Session, Market conditions, Mistakes, Execution and Timeframe. What you add is yours from then on: rename, recolor and delete as you like.
A category you already have doesn't get topped up: the template is a starting point, not a fixed set.
Open a trade and find the tag picker on its detail page. For each category you pick one or more tags through a searchable field; your choice saves right away. To adjust categories or tags themselves, a link points you to Manage tags.
Under Trading → Reports, Tags tab, choose a category and see, per tag, the number of trades, net P&L and win rate, plus the best and worst tag, the most used one, and the highest win rate. That way you quickly see which setup or emotion is costing or making you money.
