A challenge belongs to a trading account in your journal: the trades on it drive your progress. Here's how to set one up.
By NKTrades
You link a challenge to a trading account that's already in your journal: the trades that come in on it automatically drive your progress. So set up a trading account with trades on it first, then add the challenge.
If you don't have a trading account for this challenge yet, go to Trading → Accounts first and create one: import your trades, or enter them by hand. Without a free trading account you can't create a challenge; the page will tell you.
Go to Trading → Prop firm → Challenges and click Add challenge.
Enter a Name, usually the account number the firm gives you.
Pick the Prop firm.
Pick the Challenge (the template): you'll see its cost, profit target and max drawdown right there.
Pick the Journal account whose trades will count.
Set the Start date if needed: trades before that date don't count towards the rules.
Tick Log the evaluation fee as a transaction right away if you want to track that cost immediately.
Click Create.
The template's rules are copied into this challenge. If an admin updates the template later, an evaluation that's already running doesn't change. Your rules are fixed the moment you create it.
A trading account can carry at most one challenge (or, later, one phase) at a time. If you're running several challenges, give each one its own trading account: that keeps the trades and the numbers apart.

Phases, moving on and resets
A challenge moves through phases, each with its own rules and its own window of trades. Here's how moving on and a reset work.
Drawdown rules: static, trailing close and trailing EOD
A prop firm calculates your drawdown one of three ways. Each method explained with a small worked example.
This looks like a breach
The app warns you when the numbers point to a breach, but you set your challenge's status yourself. Here's how, and why.
Tracking costs, payouts and ROI
What a challenge costs and brings in is tracked separately from your trades. Here's how to log a transaction and read your return.
