Your preferences

What the three switches under Profile → Preferences do: newsletter, promotions, and sharing your trades.

By NKTrades

Under Account → Profile → Preferences you control three things yourself: what you get from us by email, and whether your best trades are visible to the community. You already chose two of these during onboarding. This page is where you revisit them later.

The three switches

  • Newsletter sends you market updates, outlooks and community news by email.

  • Promotions and offers covers prop firm deals, discounts and giveaways, separate from the newsletter: you can have one on and the other off.

  • Share my trades with the community decides whether your best trades may appear in the community trades on the homepage and dashboard, with your name. Turn it off and you disappear from those. Your trades stay in your own journal either way. This is on by default.

During onboarding, newsletter and promotions were still one checkbox ("Keep me posted"). Here you can set them apart.

What "sharing trades" also affects

This switch also decides whether you're considered for the card that gets posted daily in Discord's #profits for the member with the best day. Turn it off and you're left out of that comparison. That's separate from sharing a day, month or trade card yourself from the journal: you always do that with an explicit click on the share button, regardless of this setting.

Saving

One form with one button, Save preferences: no switch that saves the moment you click it. That's deliberate: especially with "share my trades", you don't want a stray click to take effect right away.

More in Account & membership

Free vs. Premium: what's the difference

The trade journal is free for every member. Premium lifts the limit on your accounts and adds prop firm tools and market data.

Upgrading to Premium

How to upgrade to Premium: through the checkout, paying via Whop, with your access ready right after.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

See your plan and invoices under Account → Subscription; cancelling and payment details are handled at Whop.

What happens when your Premium ends

Nothing is deleted: part of the trading section just locks again until you upgrade once more.

Terms, privacy and disclaimer

Why you agree to these on your first login, what happens when the text changes, and where to read the documents.

Unlinking or changing Discord and TradingView

What happens to your roles and your indicator access when you remove your Discord or TradingView link.
